Using the FARO Focus M70 LiDAR scanner and Autodesk AEC software, we capture and process spatial data with millimeter-level accuracy — transforming real-world environments into digital models that empower smarter design, faster fabrication, and flawless installation.

About the Founder

Rich Anderson

For more than 25 years, Rich Anderson has built a career around precision — in design, fabrication, and leadership. His expertise spans engineering management, product development, and 3D measurement, combining technical rigor with real-world problem solving.

Rich began his career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at B/E Aerospace, where he worked on aircraft seating systems that demanded accuracy measured in thousandths of an inch. From there, he transitioned into the marine and luxury fabrication industries, leading engineering and design teams at Westport Shipyard and Century Furniture’s Yacht Casework Division, where he oversaw multimillion-dollar yacht interior projects from concept to completion.

In 2013, he founded BerkenG Inc., a design and engineering consultancy specializing in product design, precision measurement, and LiDAR-based modeling. Over time, BerkenG evolved to include Measure3D, a focused service brand built to bring LiDAR and 3D scanning technology to architects, builders, and fabricators across the Carolinas.

Rich’s approach blends engineering discipline with creative problem-solving — helping clients bridge the gap between design intent and built reality. He believes that precision should simplify, not complicate, and that clear data is the foundation of great craftsmanship.
